Boys and Girls Club of the Leech Lake Area seeks volunteers

LEECH LAKE – The Boys and Girls Clubs of the Leech Lake Area is seeking volunteers to provide special physical fitness activities such as dance classes, yoga, aerobics, kick-boxing or other activities to introduce youth to alternate physical fitness activities.

BGCLLA provide services to all youth living on or near the Leech Lake Reservation through clubs in Cass Lake, Walker, Deer River and the Eagleview Unit at South Lake.
Services include afterschool, summer, and special programs annually to more than 700 regularly attending youth.
BGCLLA started with assistance of an Initiative Foundation planning grant, used to bring together a large number of youth from the area who were asked what they needed.
