Board considers payment to settle harassment claim
Duluth News Tribune
DULUTH, Minn. (AP) — St. Louis County commissioners will consider settling a sexual harassment claim for $65,000.
Betty Sislo, of Duluth, came forward in 2007 and alleged a former commissioner sexually harassed her while she was employed as his secretary for ten years.
Sislo claims former Commissioner Dennis Fink made repeated comments of a sexual nature and inappropriate comments about her personal appearance. Fink has denied the allegations. The county took no action against him.
County Attorney Mark Rubin has recommended the county settle the case filed in federal court.
The Duluth News Tribune says commissioners vote on the settlement Tuesday.
