BEMIDJI - Ryan Sander ripped three singles and a triple, scored three runs and drove in three more to power the Bemidji Blue Ox to an 11-1 victory over Sebeka Sunday at the BSU diamond.
The Blue Ox (5-0) returns to action 7 p.m. today when it entertains Cass Lake.
Sunday against Sebeka Nolan Coyle and Matt Schneider combined on a six-hitter. The pair also fanned 13 and walked only one.
Bemidji scored all the runs it would need in the opening inning when Matt Baier and Bryan Jamieson singled and Sander drove both runners home with a triple. Landon Harris followed with an RBI double.
Coyle's double, Baier's single, a walk to Jamieson and singles by Sander and Harris plated three more in the second and the rout was on.
Chris Conway and Baier each belted three hits and Baier and Harris had a pair of RBI.
