"George" explains some of the tools of his trade. This event was well attended, and the people there really seemed to enjoy the presentation. Everyone learned a lot about the fur trade, how it connected thecountry, and a lot about the importance of wild rice in trading. The next event is Pequot Lakes author Candace Simar Feb. 20 at 11 a.m. at the Blackduck Golf Course and after that, March 4, the library will have a musical performance at the library starting at 7 p.m.
