Blackduck to host Woodcarvers Festival

Christa Hanson, left, and Bonnie Rutherford, both of Blackduck, are amazed at the detail in a drake shoveler carved by Gary Muhlenbruck and displayed at the Countryside Restaurant. The shoveler is the auction item at this year's 26th annual Blackduck Woodcarvers Festival from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. More than 40 booths of woodcarvings from throughout the Midwest and plenty of food vendors will be at the Wayside Park. This coincides with the annual Art and Crafts Sale in Blackduck.
