Seeking artists from the past

The Blackduck Area History and Art Center would like to remember and honor now-deceased area artists for a special show in the Tin Pan gALLErY. If you have one to three items of art from a former Blackduck area artist that you are willing to loan the gallery for this show, please call Shirley Gilmore at 835-7826 or Jeff Asfoor at 835-4319 by Jan. 15. All art formats are welcome. Please also provide a brief history and, if possible, a photo of the artist. If there is adequate participation, the work will be displayed in February and March.

The gallery/Blackduck Area History and Art Center will be closed for the month of January and Dec. 24. Usual winter hours hours are Thursdays and Fridays from 1-4 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Check us out on the web at www.blackduckhistoryart.org or call 835-4478.
