Blackduck Elementary welcomes new ECSE teacher
Last week, we introduced you to another of the new teachers in Blackduck Schools, and now it's time to meet the third of the six new faculty members who are becoming familiar faces in the school classrooms and corridors.
Lisa Marie Larson comes to Blackduck from her previous experiences in the Bemidji Schools with both Head Start and ECSE and is now the new Early Childhood Special Education teacher in Blackduck.
She and her husband, Jerry, have two children of their own -- Gretchen, who is 6 and Ethan, who is 4.
She says that she's happy to begin her career in Blackduck so she can be closer to her own kids as they get into school and is looking forward to getting to know the Blackduck community even better!
Her own favorite school memory is of being involved in the high school band program. In her spare time now, she enjoys spending time with her family as well as cooking and snowmobiling. It won't be too long before there will be plenty of snow for her to do that!
Welcome to Blackduck Mrs. Larson -- it's great to see your face and your enthusiasm in the ECSE program.
