There were two special drawings for staff and students. For every 50 box tops staff and students brought in, they were able to put their name in a drawing for gift certificates to Blackduck Family Foods and Blackduck Hardware Hank.

Winning the staff drawing was kindergarten teacher Stacy Bahr and winning the student drawing was first grader Sawyer Nendick.

The next box top contest will be in February so the community is encouraged to keep sending in those box tops. For every box top sent in, the school earns 10¢ which may not sound like much but for the fall contest, Blackduck School turned in over 15,000 box tops!

General Mills products carry the special box tops on many of their products and there are drop off boxes at the library, senior center and Anderson Fabric lunchrooms. Box tops can also be turned into the elementary office or any elementary student.
