Blackduck captures Northland Conference title

PINE RIVER - The Blackduck baseball team captured the Northland Conference championship Monday with a 13-0 victory at Pine River.

Blackduck (16-3) won the North Division of the conference while Pine River was the South Division champion. Each year the two division winners meet to determine the overall conference champion and Monday the Drakes claimed the title.

Trey Volk had a double and two singles and Jacob Krabbenhoft drilled a double and a single and contributed three RBI in the win.
