The meeting was called to order by President Ferdig, January minutes were read by Secretary Leona Ferdig and the treasurer's report was presented by Val Thielman. Val requested that all bills, invoices and the like, be fully signed and identified as to which category they belong. This will help eliminate mistakes and allow for timely reports.

Dale Juelson was heard next and the subject of scrubbing, waxing and buffing the Center's floors was discussed. Dale relayed information on behalf of Myron Connel, who is in this business and will have a proposal, including estimates, to present in the near future. Dale volunteered to assist with moving tables, chairs, etc. Patrick, if informed in advance, will also help. (Patrick lives in the Bemidji area).

There was some discussion regarding the "Communication Calendar" that sits by the front entrance. Opinions were noted and after viewing the existing communications and calendar, it was decided that Glennis would just add a column "future events" that would primarily show rental dates into the far future. Leona also informed the group that a "Rentals" book is kept at the desk for all to review. The bulletin boards and this "communication and calendar" record will be kept current and is for the benefit of the members and visitors.

The 2012 paid memberships are behind (76 paid) and members are encouraged to pay the $5.00 dues as soon as possible.

Eva Fischer or any hostess can accept payment and issue membership cards. Please think about asking a friend or two to join also.

"Game Night" is a planned first Sunday evening of the month activity, however due to some scheduling conflicts we've played at other times. This activity is well attended and has been a lot of fun for all who attend. The March "Game Night" has been moved to March 11 starting at 6:30 p.m.

Mark your calendars... The next music "Jam" session is March 3 from 1-4 p.m. Visitors and new musicians are always welcome.

The next board meeting is March 13 at 1 p.m. Meeting adjourned.
