Week ending Sept. 22
Lorraine's brother, Earl Krueth of Kelliher, visited her Wednesday afternoon while Evalyn Krueth took her mother, Vivian Langston, for an appointment in Bemidji.
That evening, they enjoyed the potluck supper with brats and buns furnished by the residents as an entree. Leona and Marian did the grilling. Special guests were Ron, Kathy and Ann Dreher.
Thursday afternoon Lorraine's sister, Yvonne and Clarence Trushenski of Billings, MT, came by to visit and take her to supper at Countryside.
Friday, Lorraine went with Yvonne and Clarence to drive to Big Falls for a harvest dinner at Val and Art Hanks home. Later, they enjoyed listening to Art sing and play his guitar accompanied by Val on the two chord before heading back to Blackduck.
Saturday morning, they traveled to Brainerd to spend the week with sister, Muriel and Bob, at their time share but not before they enjoyed breakfast at Countryside.
Saturday, Gaylen Cotten came by the visit Grandma Peck and have dinner at her apartment. Jessica Edin also visited with them.
Sunday, Lorraine enjoyed her day with Lori and Dan Dietrich at R.B.C. for worship service followed by a fellowship meal and a bit of shopping.
Residents here have really been enjoying the fruits of harvest from their friends and neighbors gardens.
