The Bistro at WoodsEdge held a grand opening celebration Tuesday, April 27.

The Bistro is located inside the front entrance of Neilson Place and features frequently changing selections from WoodsEdge chef Ed Harapat, available for sale to the public.

Tuesday's menu included assorted breakfast breads, homemade wild rice soup, a turkey focaccia sandwich and Chef Harapat's chocolate éclairs.

Trek North Choir provided musical entertainment in the morning and Eve Sumsky gave a basket-weaving demonstration in the afternoon.

The works of local artisans will be displayed and showcased for the monthly First Friday Art Walk.

The Bistro is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is operated by volunteers. Anyone interested in volunteering can contact Sandy Hennum at 333-6290 or shennum@nchs.com.

The WoodsEdge Senior Living Campus is part of North Country Health Services and includes Trillium, Neilson Place and WindSong.
