According to a report from the Bemidji Police Department:

Roger Webb was on a bicycle crossing Bemidji Avenue from Blockbuster when he struck a vehicle driven by Lynda Smith.

Smith told authorities that she was southbound on Bemidji Avenue when Webb struck the front quarter of her vehicle. She suspected that Webb did not see her due to a larger vehicle in an inside lane.

Webb, who suffered a sore right knee and right arm, was treated and released at North Country Regional Hospital.

He told police that he did not see Smith's vehicle until it was too late and that he had tried to jump off the bicycle before the impact.

Smith's vehicle, which was not identified in the report, sustained damage to its front, roof and front bumper.
