Bemidji High School students won awards this spring at Extreme Tech Challenge, a machining and manufacturing competition at Alexandria (Minn.) Technical College.

Kyle Beckwith took first place in the single's machining competition for machining a pool cue.

Erick Lindquist took second place in the single's machining competition for machining a tap wrench.

Matt Grundy, Ben Fossand, Jared Vanasse and Jessica Barnum took second place in the team machining competition for manufacturing a motorcycle.

Dustin Mostollor took third place in the blueprint design competition for a blueprint design.
