BEMIDJI – Mariah Wolf, the Bemidji High School student who was airlifted to a hospital in Fargo after crashing her car Tuesday morning was listed in satisfactory condition Wednesday afternoon.

That’s an improvement from Tuesday, when she was listed in guarded condition.

According to a press release from the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office, Wolf was found pinned in the cab of a 1997 Chevrolet pickup truck just after 7 a.m. Tuesday on Fern Lake Road Southwest. The truck was resting on its side against a tree.

She was rescued from the cab by Bemidji firefighters using the jaws of life and was airlifted to the Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, N.D.
