The win was Bemidji's seventh in a row and upped the Lumberjacks overall record to 10-3. BHS takes today off but plays two matches on Saturday in Moorhead. At 1:30 p.m. the Jacks will tangle with Chanhassen and at 7:30 p.m. they will face Moorhead.

Thursday at Grand Rapids Bemidji fashioned early leads in all three games but had to withstand rallies by the Thunderhawks in the first two sets.

The finale was more one-sided, however, as BHS posted the 25-17 triumph.

Black Bardwell finished with three blocks while Allie Heifort ripped 14 kills and Jess Yost 13.

Yerbich, Nicole McDonald and Hannah Olson each served two aces. Yost also had 15 digs and Olson 14.
