BHS boys tennis: Singles lead Bemidji to 5-2 win over Crookston

The weather was drier but not much better Friday as Bemidji High's tennis team turned back Crookston 5-2 at home to run its record to 10-2.

It entertains Moorhead today at 11 to complete the week.

Bemidji used its patented method of sweeping the four singles matches to nail down the victory.

Sam Weaver, Ben Holter, Ryan Rude and Justin Byers all won in straight sets, only Weaver slightly extended in a 6-4, 6-3 win .

Holter scored two 6-0 wins while Rude won 6-0, 6-1.

Bemidji also won at No. 3 doubles with Wes Rogers and Aaron Eickhorst in straight sets while Crookston took the No. 1 and 2 doubles in straight sets.
