A revamped Bemidji High tennis team swept the four singles matches Thursday to shade Grand Rapids 4-3 on the losers courts and raised its record to 11-2.
It concludes its regular season today in a triangular at Fergus Falls with Moorhead as the third team.
Sam Weaver was extended to three sets at No. 1 singles but prevailed 6-4, 3-6, 6-3 in what turned out to be the deciding match.
Ben Holter, Ryan Rude and Adam Holter won in straight sets.
Bemidji extended the No. 1 doubles before bowing and lost at No. 2 and 3 in straight sets.
Two of the doubles regulars were unable to play due to the choir concert Thursday night.
Bemidji also won the lone exhibition match.
The JV was not fortunate, dropping a 5-2 decision with the Rapids sweeping three singles matches and dividing the four doubles.
