Age 90 of Minneapolis, born Sep. 11, 1922 in Gonvik, MN to Arthur and Alta Granum, passed away Dec. 20, 2012. Bernard was a graduate forester (U of MN), worked for the State of MN at IRRR and retired as a Sr. Manager from the Bureau of Indian Affairs. Bernard supported many humanistic causes, both individually and through a life-long membership in the Khurum Masonic Lodge. Bernard is preceded in death by his wife, Fern and son, Chris. He will be dearly missed by sons, Greg and Brad; daughter, Gail (Barry) Spiczynski; grandchildren: Evan & Logan Spiczynski, and Theodore Mason; great-grandson, Landen; sister, Gwen Wood; nieces, Kristin and Vicki; and other family and friends. Memorial Service is 11:30 AM, Saturday, Feb. 9th, with visitation at 11 AM, at Ft. Snelling Memorial Chapel. Inurnment will be at a later date at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
