Bemidji's game with Hill-Murray pushed back to 10 a.m. Friday
ST. PAUL - Thursday's opening round of the Class 3A state baseball tournament was a weather victim and Minnesota State High School League officials are hoping to complete at least the first two rounds on Friday.
Bemidji was scheduled to face Hill-Murray Thursday afternoon in the state quarterfinals. That game has been pushed back to 10 a.m. Friday. The Lumberjacks and the Pioneers also saw their game moved from Midway Stadium to Dunning Field on the Concordia-St. Paul campus.
If Bemidji defeats Hill-Murray it will head to Midway Stadium for a 3 p.m. showdown against the winner of Friday morning's game between Eden Prairie and Hopkins. A loss to Hill-Murray, however, would keep Bemidji at Dunning Field for a 3 p.m. consolation game against the Eden Prairie-Hopkins loser.
