The championship game will be played at 3 p.m. Saturday.

George will face Todd Birr of Mankato at 8 p.m. Friday in the semifinal, with the winner advancing to Saturday's final. Birr eliminated Heath McCormick of New York 9-5 in Friday's other playoff.

Fenson scored four in the fifth end against George and added one in the sixth to take a 7-4 lead. The teams exchanged single points in the seventh and eighth before George took two in the ninth to pull within 8-7. But Fenson held the hammer in the 10th and scored three to put it away.

Two teams with Bemidji ties will play in the women's semifinal at 4 p.m. Friday. The Cassie Potter rink includes sisters Cassie Potter and Jamie Haskell, who grew up in Bemidji, and the Allison Pottinger rink includes Natalie Nicholson of Bemidji.
