Pee Wee A

Bemidji's Coca Cola Pee Wee A lifted its record to 17-3 this week with wins over Grand Rapids 4-1 Tuesday at Grand Rapids and Warroad 8-1 Sunday at Warroad.

The latter was a District contest lifting Bemidji to 5-3.

They head to St. Cloud this weekend for tournament play facing Detroit Lakes, Rogers and Hopkins in pool play.

They defeated DL 9-2 earlier this season.

At Grand Rapids, Mikey Sauer had a hat trick and Rocky Copiskey scored once. Jack Johnson and Copiskey had two assists and Sauer and Michael Forseth one.

Kyle Krause needed only eight stops. The Rapids had 18.

Sunday, Sauer and Josh Lusby scored twice and Johnson, Tanner Turn, Matthew Gregg and Eric Fitzgerald once.

Forseth had three assists, Johnson and Jake Leitner two and Sauer, Gregg, Tarron Baker, Cole Hartje and Nick Leitner one.

Grant Tharaldson also needed just eight stops. Warroad had 22.

Girls 12-Under

The 12-under girls went 1-2-1 at their home tournament this weekend.

In games reported they stand 2-3-1. A team schedule is still awaited.

Saturday, Bemidji lost to Dry den, Man. 3-1 with Savannah DeLaHunt scoring the goal off a Mackenzie Hietala feed.

Morgan Miller stopped 11 shots Bemidji had 28.

River Lakes beat Bemidji 5-3 in its second game with Bemidji outshooting the winners 36-13.

Leighton Rockensock stopped eight. The winners had 35 saves.

Hietala scored twice and Katie Pogue once. Sylvia Grimm had two assists and Pogue and Sierra Anderson one.

In its third game, Bemidji battled Armstrong to a 1-1 overtime tie although outshot 24-14. Miller posted 23 stops in goal.

Heather Olson scored for Bemidji from a Kelsey Isaacson feed.

In its final start Sunday, Bemidji won in overtime 3-2 over an unlisted opponent., outshooting its victim 36-17.

Rockensock had 15 saves.

Pogue, Grimm and Anderson had the goals with Pogue, Kylee Hall, Isaacson and Madelyn Tews getting assists..

Squirts A

The Squirts A lifted their record to 8-1-1 Sunday with a 5-1 decision at Thief River Falls.

The team hosts East Grand Forks Saturday at 1:45 and Roseau Sunday at 1, both at the BCA

Alex Pollock had a hat trick and Tanner Hammitt and Sam Walker scored once in the Thief River wins.

Brady Tatro had two assists and Ethen Pickett, Pollock and Walker one.

Matt Fitzgerald made 22 saves. Thief River had 19
