Bemidji woman injured in Monday evening crash
A 22-year-old Bemidji woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash reported at 8:22 p.m. Monday at the intersection of U.S. Highway 71 and Glidden Road.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol out of Thief River Falls:
Cheltse M. Steele was driving a 1994 Ford Ranger westbound on Glidden Road when she failed to yield to a 2003 Chevrolet K15 wagon driven by Brittany A. Sand of Bemidji and the two vehicles collided.
Steele suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to North Country Regional Hospital.
Neither Sand nor a passenger, 21-year-old Tasha M. Stepaniak of Bemidji, were injured.
It was unknown if any of those involved were wearing a seat belt.
Both vehicles were totaled.
Assisting at the scene was the Beltrami County Sheriff's Office.
