Bemidji woman injured in Friday morning accident
At 8:09 a.m. Friday, the Minnesota State Patrol based in Thief River Falls, Beltrami County Sheriff's Office, Bemidji Police Department, Bemidji Fire Department and Bemidji Ambulance responded to a one-vehicle accident at the intersection of U.S. Highway 2 and Beltrami County Road 50 (Old Highway 2.
According to the State Patrol report:
Frances L. Dentz, 47, of Bemidji, was driving east when she lost control of her 2000 Buick Century, which ran off the icy road and struck a bridge support post. She was wearing a seat belt and air bags deployed.
She was taken to North Country Regional Hospital with minor injuries. She was treated at the hospital and released.
The car was totaled.
