Lumberjacks pitcher Ryan Hirt allowed a first-inning run but held the Eagles off the board the rest of the way. The sophomore tossed a 3-hitter and was aided by a pair of double plays turned by the BHS infield.
Cody Jenkins drove in both Bemidji runs, the first on a first-inning single which plated Cody Rutledge, and the other on a third-inning double which scored pinch runner Billy Baumgartner from first base.
The Lumberjacks, 23-2, will open their state tournament 12:30 p.m. Thursday, June 14, against Hill-Murray.
