Bemidji viewing party set for BSU-Michigan game

The Bemidji State men's hockey team will play Michigan in the first round of the NCAA Midwest playoffs Saturday at 6:30 p.m.

Fox Sports North has agreed to pick up the broadcast rights from ESPN and will show the Bemidji State- Michigan game upon the completion of the North Dakota-Yale game, which begins at 4:00 pm.

For those who want to watch the game with other BSU fans, Beaver Pride and the Alumni Office will be hosting a viewing party at the Hungry Bear Banquet and Conference Center located behind Home Depot.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and cost is $10 per person. Hors d'oeurves and a cash bar will be provided.

If Bemidji State wins Saturday, BSU will take on the winner of the Miami-Alabama-Huntsville game Sunday at 7 p.m. on ESPNU.

Both games will also be broadcast locally on The Mix 103.7 FM and web streamed on www.kkbj.com.
