Email

The Bemidji Symphony Orchestra will continue the "Fanfare" series of concerts at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Bemidji High School Auditorium.

The orchestra, under the direction of Beverly Everett, will open with "Fanfare for the New Renaissance," a 2008 piece by the contemporary composer Carol Worthey.

According to her Web site, Worthey began composing when she was 3. She said she understands music both as an individual and a community-building experience.
