Bemidji students win knowledge bowl

BEMIDJI – The Bemidji High School Knowledge Bowl Team had their third meet of the year Wednesday in Thief River Falls.

The team of Levi Heath, Matt Peske, Henry Curtis and Erik Dreyer placed first with 116.5 points. Thief River Falls placed second with 98 points and Crookston placed third with 98 points.
A second team from Bemidji – Anderson Carter, Lucas Thebault-Spieker, Jared Winge, Mitch Deer, and Jonah Snyder – placed 11th with 83.5 points.
There were 42 teams at the meet. A team from Bemidji has placed first at all three meets this year.
