As a sophomore Shevik competed in eight rounds with a scoring average of 115.9.

Langer played four rounds last season and enters her sophomore season with a scoring average of 102.8.

The Beavers have five new players this year: Kelly Blair of International Falls, Hatton, N.D. native Olivia Knudson, Katrina Leoni of Gilbert, Katelyn Wick of Forest Lake and Monica Wold of Crookston.

Knutson was ranked third in North Dakota as a senior in high school while Monica Wold, Rachel Wold’s sister, was ranked 18th in the state of Minnesota.

Head coach Mark Bagaason said he was looking forward to the upcoming season.

“I’m really excited to see what we can do,” he said. “We have some players coming in that are pretty decent. They’ve been steadily improving throughout their high school careers, and we hope that continues here at Bemidji State.
