Ali Rice recorded a match-high 15 kills as No. 20 Minnesota State Mankato picked up a 25-18, 25-20, 25-18 win over Bemidji State in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Athletic Conference volleyball.
The Beavers fall to 6-21 (3-16 NSIC) with the loss. Minnesota State improves their mark to 19-8 (12-7 NSIC).
The Beavers had an early lead in the first game of Friday night's match as they were up 7-1 on the visiting Mavericks. However, Minnesota State would close the score to 12-12 and wouldn't look back as they took 13 of the next 19 points from BSU.
Friday night served as senior night for the Beavers as they honored a pair of four-year players in Kimberly Hacker and Jessi-Beth McCannell.
McCannell will ultimately end her career in the top 10 for career assists at BSU while Hacker has tallied over 400 kills and 100 blocks.
Hacker and McCannell will each play their final match for the Beavers on Sunday against No. 9 Southwest Minnesota State University.
