The meeting with season-ticket holders for Bemidji State University hockey has been rescheduled for Tuesday.

The meeting, which originally was to be held last week, was rescheduled due to inclement weather.

The meeting now will begin at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday with social time, appetizers and beverages, and the program on the seating transition into the Bemidji Regional Event Center will begin at 6 p.m. It will be held at the John Glas Fieldhouse.

BSU has developed a plan that will dictate how seating will be made available at the BREC, which is planned to open for the 2010-2011 season.

"As we transition into the BREC and the new home for Beaver hockey, one of our main goals will be to provide a meaningful priority for our loyal Beaver Pride supporters and longtime season-ticket holders for seat selection in the new arena," said Athletic Director Rick Goeb in a press release. "As we move forward with the new arena and, hopefully, as a member of the (Western Collegiate Hockey Association), it will be important to maintain strong support for our athletic programs."

Certain seating in the BREC will require membership in Beaver Pride, the foundation that supports BSU athletic scholarships. An individual's level of Beaver Pride membership will determine where that person's seats will be located in the BREC.

A point system has been developed to determine when people will be able to choose seats in the new arena. Points are based on the following:

-- Beaver Pride level for the 2009-2010 season.

-- Lifetime contributions to BSU athletics.

-- Lifetime contributions to BSU.

-- Volunteer service to BSU athletics.

-- Years of season tickets for BSO hockey.

-- Support of move to Division I hockey in 1999.

-- BSU alumni.

-- BSU alumni athlete.

"The BREC will be regarded as one of the most unique facilities in collegiate hockey and most certainly rank in the top percent of such venues in the nation," said coach R.H. "Bob" Peters.
