The Beavers had 26 hits on the day to post 8-3 and 6-2 victories to move back to .500 with a 17-17 overall and 10-10 NSIC record.

The Beavers pounded 15 hits in the first game, as eight different players recorded a base knock. Gomez went 4 for 4 with a run and an RBI, while junior right-hander Logan Kalis went 3 for 4 with a run scored. Gomez joins Kalis as the only two players to record four hits in a game this season for BSU.

Sophomore right-hander Miles Campbell started the nightcap for the Beavers and threw seven strong innings for the win. He allowed the two runs on 11 hits with five strikeouts and no walks. Campbell moved to 3-3 with the win. BSU totaled 11 hits in the game.

The Beavers travel to Minnesota State Mankato Saturday and Sunday for a four-game series. Doubleheaders are slated for a 12 p.m. first pitch each day.
