LA CROSSE, Wis. -- The Bemidji State University women's basketball team defeated Viterbo University 71-66 in a nonconference game Thursday at R.W. Beggs Senior Gymnasium.

BSU sophomore Sydney Epema tallied a team-high 15 points on 4-of-6 shooting from 3-point range.

The victory against the V-Hawks gives BSU a three-game winning streak and keeps the Beavers perfect on the road in 2009-10 at a 4-0 mark.
