The Beavers lost to Northern State 3-1. The set scores were 25-17, 25-19, 26-28 and 25-13.

Bemidji State's record dropped to 4-9 overall (1-2 NSIC) with the loss while Northern State improved to 7-5 overall (2-2 NSIC).

Twenty-eight attacking errors led to a dismal .104 attacking percentage and 10 receiving errors never gave the Beavers a chance to start a rally and end the Wolves' service.

The Beavers avoided the shutout Set 3 by winning in extra points. At the beginning of the set, NSU shot out to an early lead, but errors helped the Beavers and the two teams proceeded to exchange points all the way to 21-21.

NSU led 24-22 before kills by Melissa McNeeley and Nicole Solum knotted the set at 24-24. Nicole Olson secured the win with a kill followed by a block.

Courtney Bitter had 36 set assists in the match, tying her third largest output of the season. Olson had a team-high 11 kills and Brie Groskreutz had a match-high 21 digs.
