Bemidji St. takes Gophers into overtime

Jessica Havel kept the Beavers in the contest with a career-high 41 saves but Minnesota’s Mira Jalsuo knocked in a back-door feed to end the game with 72 seconds to play in the extra period.

BSU’s Kaitlyn Tougas notched her second multi-goal game of the season with tallies in the second and third periods. She is the only Beaver to accomplish the feat so far this season.

The Beavers will complete their regular season Friday and Saturday with a home series against No. 8 Wisconsin. BSU will begin WCHA playoff action the following week away from home against an opponent yet to be determined.
