Curb posted four consecutive rounds under par to open his collegiate career.

He captured medalist honors at the Concordia Invitational last weekend with a two-round score of 7-under and followed with a fourth place finish at 3-under in the BSU Invitaitonal.

In both events, his efforts helped power the Bemidji State men's golf squad to team title.

Curb and the rest of the Bemidji State men's golf team look to make it three tournament wins in a row this weekend at the St. Cloud State Invitational. Play begins Saturday at St. Cloud Country Club.

Bemidji State junior Marissa Mackedanz carded a 90-86--176 (+32) to finish with a share of 15th place and to lead the Bemidji State University women's golf team in last week's Cobber Open in Detroit Lakes.

The Beavers posted an opening round score of 359 (+71) to enter the final round in fifth place.

Sunday the team shaved one stroke off its opening round score to post a 358 but was unable to climb the standings and finished in fifth place at 359-358--717 (+141).

The University of North Dakota won with a two-day total of 322-324--646 (+70).

UND's Kristi Lucken, a former Birchmont champion, was medalist at 5-over.
