Bemidji School Board: Board to get property update
The Bemidji School Board will receive an update Monday night on four vacant properties owned by the Bemidji School District.
The board will meet at 6:30 p.m. in the Bemidji High School Media Center. The update will be among several items on the meeting agenda.
Chris Leinen, director of business services, will present the board with the update.
In December, the board selected Century 21 Dickinson Realtors of Bemidji to provide services regarding the four vacant properties.
Since then, the district has entered into a Multiple Listing Services contract with the real estate agency for the sale of the former Community Education building located at 1420 Beltrami Ave. N.W.
The district also plans to obtain an appraisal from the real estate agency for 4.1 acres located at First Street and Grant Avenue Southeast in the Lake Bemidji south shore area.
Additionally, the district plans to obtain Realtors Letters of Estimated Value from the real estate agency for 2 acres northwest of Blackduck and 1 acre northwest of Bemidji near Nelson Dam.
Also Monday night, the board is scheduled to award bus bids.
The board's monthly listening session will be from 5:45-6:15 p.m. Monday in the BHS Commons. Board member John Pugleasa will be available to visit with the public.
