BEMIDJI - Security BankUSA's Tiffany Baer Paine has been elected to the Independent Community Bankers of Minnesota Board of Directors.

Paine is vice president of operations and the board of directors at Security BankUSA, where she has been employed for 19 years. She is a fourth-generation community banker at Security BankUSA.

She is also active on ICBM's state advisory committees.

Paine is the president of the Bemidji Town and Country Club, a board member of the Lumberjack Foundation and serves on the Security BankUSA Lumberjack Scramble Committee.

She is a past president of the Bemidji Downtown Development Association, treasurer of the Beltrami County Historical Society, board member of the Headwater's Science Center and communications chair of the United Way of the Bemidji Area.

Paine and her husband, Bob, have two children and three grandchildren.

Lindfors Agency gets award for excellence

FOSSTON - Lindfors Agency Inc. of Fosston was presented with an Award of Excellence from Grinnell Mutual Reinsurance Company of Grinnell, Iowa. The award recognizes five years of outstanding achievement in the insurance profession and superior performance for Grinnell Mutual.

New clinician at Sanford Bemidji

BEMIDJI - Lacey Langerak, certified physician assistant, has joined the Sanford Bemidji Orthopedic team of Dr. Patrick Moriarty, Dr. Jason Caron and Dr. Terrance Johnson.

Langerak specializes in orthopedic surgery. A graduate of the University of North Dakota, Langerak is originally from Thief River Falls.

Schultz joins Deerwood Bank

BEMIDJI -- Robynn Schultz has been hired as credit analyst at Deerwood Bank's Bemidji branch.

As credit analyst, Schultz studies financial documents, evaluating potential borrower's financial history and current market conditions.

Schultz has two years of banking experience, working as a teller in Red Lake Falls before joining Deerwood Bank last month. She has a degree in business administration with emphases in finance and management from Bemidji State University.

Deerwood Bank, which was founded in 1910, has northern Minnesota offices in Deerwood, Bemidji, Baxter, Brainerd,, Garrison, Grand Rapids, Northome and Blackduck.
