Bemidji opens 8-4A playoffs Tuesday at Rogers
BEMIDJI – The Bemidji High School girls basketball team received the seventh seed in the Section 8-4A playoffs Saturday and will open its postseason 8 p.m. Tuesday at No. 2 Rogers.
BHS will take an 8-17 record into Tuesday’s quarterfinal while Rogers is 16-9.
Tuesday’s other lower-bracket game sees No. 3 Elk River (14-12) hosting No. 6 Moorhead (7-16).
In the upper bracket top-seeded St. Michael-Albertville (20-5) will entertain No. 8 Brainerd (4-21) and No. 4 St. Cloud Tech (16-1) will welcome No. 5 Buffalo (9-16).
Tuesday’s winners advance to the March 2 semifinals at St. Cloud State. The title game is set for 6 p.m. March 8 at St. John’s University.
