Bemidji native named president for Twin Cities-based consulting firm
PLYMOUTH – Bemidji native Dave Montebello has been named president of SRF Consulting Group, a Twin Cities-based firm.
Montebello was the company’s vice president of transportation. In the new role, which began Monday, Montebello will direct the company’s day-to-day operations while remaining active in transportation and planning projects.
“As president, I’m very excited to lead SRF as we help our clients create vibrant communities and sustainable transportation systems,” Montebello said in a statement. “My ongoing involvement in projects will enable me to stay connected with SRF’s clients.”
The company has won awards for projects ranging from designing highway interchanges and bridges, revitalizing neighborhoods and urban spaces, and planning state-wide transportation systems.
“Dave has been with SRF since 1995 and is highly regarded for his strategic leadership of complex, multi-jurisdictional projects,” SRF news release said on its website. “He has directed the development of numerous statewide, regional, and local transportation plans and infrastructure projects.”
SRF, headquartered in Plymouth, employs 250 engineers, planners, and designers who work with public and private sector clients across the country. SRF also has regional offices in Fargo and Bismarck, N.D., Madison, Wis., and St. Louis, Mo.
