Bemidji Middle School basketball

The 7B girls cage team resumed action Tuesday bowing to Red Lake 47-32 at the Middle School.

Bemidji led 18-16 at the half but was outscored 31-14 after the break.

Bethany Knutson led Bemidji with 9 points. Sarah Glen and Karlie Leif had 6, Alexa Greendahl and Amayah Littlewolf 4, Destiny Needham 2 and Jenna Thompson 1

Thompson led with 6 rebounds and Greendahl had 5.

The loss dropped Bemidji to 0-3. It travels to Bagley Jan. 12 for its next start.

The 7A hosts its annual quadrangular Saturday with Crookston, Thief River and Fosston rounding out the field.
