They dropped their opener to Luke Bastiansen and Thiago Morsch of Minnetonka 6-0, 6-2 but came back to beat Allen Johnson and Brian Arola of Hibbing 6-3, 6-1.

They will be back on the courts at 8 this morning to meet the winner of a Rochester Mayo-Mahtomedi match. That winner plays again at 11:30 for the consolation title.

The Weaver-Holter duo is the first boys team to gain the state since Peder Engelstad and Austin Seaverson completed a three year run in 2002, going 1-2 to take fourth their final two years.
