The Bemidji boys soccer team repeated its earlier win at Bemidji, beating Hillcrest Academy 2-1 at Fergus Falls Thursday.
It lifted Bemidji to 6-2-1 at the midpoint of the season and 5-1-1 in the Lakes to Prairie Conference.
Bemidji plays at Hibbing tomorrow and Apollo Saturday in non-conference tests.
All the scoring came in the second half with Rylee Curb scoring the Bemidji goals, his 12th and 13th of the year.
Matt Lee had the feed on the first and Kyle Fodness on the second.
Hillcrest scored in the final two minutes to avoid a shutout,
Kevin Larson ended with 13 stops, Hector Lemus rejected nine for the Comets.
The JV battled to a 2-2 tie, its second with Hillcrest, to drop to 5-1-3.
Austin Kovach had both goals. Carl Graefe needed only three stops. Hillcrest had nine.

The girls soccer game at Moorhead Tuesday was postponed when the overnight deluge flooded the Spuds soccer field, leaving it under water and unplayable.
The contest will be replayed later this season.
The girls host East Grand Forks tomorrow at 5 against the unbeaten Lakes to Prairie Conference leader.
