The Bemidji High gymnastics team improved one more point in its third outing Friday and beat Park Rapids 127.75-115.25 at Park Rapids.
Bemidji won all four events with Katie Jensen leading on the vault and bars, Rachel Bell on the beam and Nicole Mc Donald on the floor.
Jensen reached 8.9 in vaulting with Bell, McDonald and Chelsea Anderson 3-4-5.
She scored 8.2 on the bars with Bell, McDonald and Kati Parker 2-4-6.
Bell led the beam at 8.05 with Brooke Beck, Jensen and McDonald 4-5-7 while McDonald's 8.75 topped floor exercise with Jensen, Beck and Jess Bergquist 2-3-5.
Jensen was the all around champ at 32.,6 with Kyja Penning of Park Rapids second and McDonald third.
Bemidji took the JV meet 104.3 to 72.3. Tiana Stinar led on the beam and floor and tied Bergquist for first in vaulting. Beck won the parallel bars.
Stinar was the all around champ at 26.8. Both teams are now 2-1.
Tuesday they debut at the Gym Bin against powerful Detroit Lakes which opened its year shading state champion Perham 146-145.
It was their first win over the Yellowjackets since 2002.
