
Bemidji HS girls tennis team beats Crookston
The Bemidji High tennis team returned to good health Tuesday to spill Crookston 6-1 in a rain shortened triangular at the high school courts.
The opener with Detroit Lakes was rained out. Crookston then spilled the Lakers in the second match before bowing to Bemidji.
Cortne Solberg returned to singles play after recovering from a bout of illness.
Bemidji swept the four singles in straight sets with Jamie Hoffman, Emma Nielsen and Haley Pollock joining Solberg.
The Kane sisters remained in double with Kenzie and Jess Solberg winning at No. 1 while Anna Lintelmann and Amy Frosaker triumphed at No. 3.Crookston won on a tiebreaker at No. .2 for its only win.
The two teams divided six JV matches.
