That game was played in the rain under windy conditions.
It was a replay of a game rained out earlier this year.
Bemidji held the Wave to a 2-1 lead well into then second half before two final goals widened the gap to three goals.
The winners four goals came from as many different players with Francis Piche and Grace Hollingsworth scoring in the first half and Anna Hulteng and Brooke Greenwood in the second.
Bronwyn Boyd had the Bemidji goal between the first two Wave scores, tying the score at 1-1. Erin Booth had the assist.
Hollingsworth put the home team ahead to stay seven minutes later.
Nicole Ramos was strong in the net, making 18 stops.
Bemidji managed only five on Chelsey Grassel.
"We concentrated on playing a strong defense," said Coach Kelly Schoonover, "focusing on Piche and Jaclyn Scanlan for the most part. It limited our attack somewhat but kept us in the game. They are just a very good team."
