It left Bemidji unbeaten at 3-0-1 on the year and lifted it to 2-0-1 in the Lakes to Prairie Conference.

It was worth two points in the league standings to Bemidji since the two teams meet only once this year.

Bemidji put shot the Wolves 57-5 with a 33-1 bulge in shots on goal.

Kevin Larson worked only the first half, facing no shots, then came out into the field to score the eighth goal in the second half.

Carl Graefe turned back the only Wolves shot on goal in the second half.

Rylee Curb and Max Hazelton had hat tricks while Izak Sommer and Mike Rees joined Larson in getting single goals.

Ironically Sommer, the Walker transfer this fall, got the game's first goal against his former teammates, coming at the 6:32 mark off a Hazelton feed. He later added two assists.

Curb followed with his first two and Hazelton and Rees made it 5-0 before Curb completed his hat trick in the final 65 seconds of the half.

Freshman Seth Kimball had 10 stops at the break on 30 Bemidji shots.

Hazelton wrapped his second and third goals around Larson's bullet from the left side.

It was the 50th Bemidji shot of the game.

Graefe saved the shutout with a leaping stop on a shot headed into the upper right corner.
