Bemidji HS boys golf team third at Detroit Lakes Invite

The Bemidji boys golf team finished third in the seven-team Detroit Lakes Invitational.

The first round of the 36-hole tournament was played Friday at Longbow and Saturday's final 18 holes were played at Wildflower in Detroit Lakes.

Bemidji shot 320-323-643 and trailed Fargo South which finished 289-315-604 and Detroit Lakes which ended 304-319-623.

Tanner Jones of Fargo South was meet medalist as he shot 73-77-150.

Bemidji's best was carded by Joe Welle who shot 75-81-156. Trey Dale went 82-77-159 and Kevin Larson 79-83-162.

Bemidji's other scores were Elliot Leinen's 83-82-165, Jordan Manick's 85-86-171, Rylee Curb's 84-91-175 and Max Hazelton's 93-90-183.
