Bemidji HS boys basketball: Jacks beat Thief River Falls with defense

The Bemidji Lumberjacks boys basketball team did it with defense Tuesday, shutting down Thief River Falls with 36 points in a 51-36 decision.

It lifted the Jacks to 6-4 on the year and dropped the Prowlers to the same total.

The Prowlers took Bemidji out of its run and gun attack at the start and controlled the tempo of play, slowing things down all night.
