Bemidji house fire contained to bedroom
BEMIDJI -- A house fire reported Wednesday night in Bemidji is suspected of causing about $12,000 in damage to a bedroom and its contents.
The fire, reported about 10 p.m. on the 600 block of Mississippi Avenue NW, was contained to a main-level bedroom, according to a press release from the Bemidji Fire Department.
Twelve firefighters used three fire engines, one ladder truck, and three support vehicles on the scene. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the fire department, however it
appears accidental in nature, the press release said.
The fire department was assisted at the scene by the Bemidji Police Department and the Bemidji Ambulance service.
